Anyone lonely or isolated in Monroe County or the Finger Lakes
Children (14+ with a guardian), adults, elders
People with any disability, Deaf and hard-of-hearing neighbors, newcomers
Family and professionals asking on someone’s behalf

How matching works

We talk with you first. We ask about interests, languages and schedule, then introduce a volunteer who fits. You can meet first, say no, or ask for someone else at any time.

Safety first

Every volunteer passes a background check and references
Training in boundaries, disability etiquette, Deaf culture and mandated reporting
Staff check in with you every month
Volunteers never handle money or medications
